Assessing the talent:

A linebacker / defensive end for his Stephenson team, Mitchell-Thornton had 102 tackles, six sacks, and 12 tackles for loss as a junior.

Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 5%. Is big on the Southeast schools, but is intrigued by his Husker offer.

Anyone know his GPA? It takes a pretty smart person to play MLB. I hope he has more interrest in NU in the future.

GBR

Well some of these kids amaze me how they can be borderline retarded in the classroom but geniuses on the football field (Vince Young)

I think Michael Bishop is a better example. His press conferences were like watching a 2 year old holding a mic: "I run da ball far and make good pass." He got his interview privledges taken away quick.
