I thought we'd be closer to the middle of the pack than 36th... Quote Link to comment

I know preseason polls don't mean squat, but based on this poll It sure looks like we got one of the toughest schedules in the country. We play 5 of the top 15! Can't wait! GBR Quote Link to comment
huskered17
I think The Huskers can be 15th-23rd. Could be higher, the schedual is there for a good ranking, if we take care of business. Won't be easy. I'm so ready for the first game. GBR!!! Quote Link to comment
JGS30
I have a problem with texas getting a top 10 ranking. They should be around 16-20. They lost their top running back J. Charles and as long as Colt McCoy is at QB they won't be a top 10 team. I think KU should be 11, but I'll take 13. Quote Link to comment

When a team like Kansas loses their top running back and has a mediocre quarterback they have to rebuild. When it happens to a team like Texas, they reload. I personally wouldn't ever put them outside the top 15 in any preseason poll (for however much that is worth). USC lost half their defense and their starting quarterback from last year and they are a consensus top five team and Texas recruiting is right on par with USC's. Quote Link to comment
