HuskerKing130
or does someone offer him a head coaching job? Auburn & Tennessee both look like they may fire their coaches... I would like to see him at Auburn next year, he would be a thorn in Nick Saban's rear end Also, what are the chances Texas offers Muschamp the HC job if thats the only way of keeping him? None...they'd be crazy to let Mack Brown go. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt316
I'd say 20% chance he's at Texas next year. Auburn, Tennessee, maybe even Clemson will be looking for new coaches and possibly others. Quote Link to comment
austintxhusker
Texas is grooming Major Applewhite to be the next HC. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
No way Texas gets rid of Mack Brown and I think he'd be at Auburn out of those. He was the D-coordinator there before right??? Quote Link to comment
TXHSKR
No way Texas gets rid of Mack Brown and I think he'd be at Auburn out of those. He was the D-coordinator there before right??? Mack Brown has only been the Head Coach at Texas(Since 1998) and has always coached on the Offensive side of the Game. Muschamp has never stayed put for very long, and is the highest paid Assistant in the Big XII. He will go with whoever has the most to offer. Texas Defensive Coaches have always been a fast track to other schools, ISU's Coach Chizik is a former Texas Defensive Coach. Quote Link to comment
tattooedhusker
Texas would be f'n retards if they let Mack go (don't know why this was even brought up, NO CHANCE). Don't know if Auburn would let tubberville(sp?) go either. But, I'm looking for Clemson to be pursuing him, amoung other schools of course. Quote Link to comment

I was just saying that Mack won't be leaving Texas and then the rest of that comment is directed towards Muschamp. Quote Link to comment

Muschamp has never been at Texas before this Season.....this is his first and my opinion he will be moving on for more money and a Head Coaching spot! Quote Link to comment
tattooedhusker
Muschamp would be the highest paid coach in the big VII (7) since it don't exist Quote Link to comment
Pedro Guerrero
I may be wrong but I believe he meant offering him the job when Brown leaves to get him to stick around. Brown is only in his upper 50's so I don't see that happening either though. Quote Link to comment

bbhusker
How about KSUcks? I know that Prince just got an extension but Callllahan had gotten one too, anything is possible. It would suck if he did end up a K-State. Quote Link to comment
junior4949
KState wants TCU's head man. My bet is Muschamp goes to Clemson. I highly doubt Auburn parts with their coach, and I'm thinking Fulmer is around next year at Tennessee. Quote Link to comment
