typ3kal
Obviously our big Out of conference series coming up is Washington, but what other schools would you like to see the huskers play in the non conference stretch, personally, i wish we would grab 2 highlight games a year instead of 3 cupcakes.. but to each their own. The top of my list is: 1. U. Iowa 2. Wisconsin 3. Minnesota (much improved program this year) 4. Tennessee 5. U. Miami 6. Florida 7. Michigan 8. Alabama What schools are on YOUR list? You mean that Washington is still a D1 school? I thought they were the obligatory Bowl Subdivision Opponent. Quote Link to comment
dustinl15
I would love to play Iowa or some Big 10/11 team every so often and maybe Miami, Clemson or Auburn. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
You guys miss the memos? Nebraska has scheduled a home and home with Miami AND Tennessee. Quote Link to comment
Igetbored216
I don't know why you would schedule tough non-conference opponents. Look at Texas Tech's OOC schedule...was it tough? No. They are now number two in the nation. Are there benefits in scheduling tough teams? Well, yeah. But I just don't see the benefit right now as this team is still rebuilding. Quote Link to comment
typ3kal
You guys miss the memos? Nebraska has scheduled a home and home with Miami AND Tennessee. Yea the Tennessee games are in 2019 and 2018.. sigh.. that hardly counts as being scheduled considering its 10 years away. Quote Link to comment
np_husker
Oregon Oregon State Service academies Minnesota Purdue Wyoming North Carolina South Carolina Georgia Alabama A variety of teams that I would think would gather national interest. Yeah, we would probably lose many of these, but it would still be fun. Playing Iowa just doesn't do that much for me. Quote Link to comment

MOD_CHAMPION
Lol nope, but it's 4 guaranteed wins and there's no need to break ourselves on out of conference games when we're in one of the toughest conferences anyways. We'll get plenty of tough games against Big XII opponents, no need to add to that. Quote Link to comment
NebHusker72
If not just for wins but also recruiting, I would want games w/ teams from hotbeds for talent. 1. Any Florida school 2. Any California school 3. Any Louisiana school Next, I would try to setup a series with a BCS conference school if #1-3 was not.... 1. SEC school 2. PAC-10 school 3. Big 10 school etc.,etc. Quote Link to comment
MUTigerFan
You should schedule both Washington and Washington State. Last weekend they were outscored 114-0 Quote Link to comment
