HSKRNOKC
I heard that this story had been pulled and Patterson is pissed about it being mentioned??? Which could mean two things. One is exactly what you said. the other is that it is true and they arent ready to announce just yet. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
I think this spread like wildfire and they didn't want it made public knowledge this quickly. I can understand why, Patterson still has a season to play out. KSU's is in the shitter and they would probably like Patterson to start yesterday if he could. Take it for what it's worth, but the person that told me this also knew Prince was gone after the OU-KSU game. I'm not gonna IBR this shizz, just heard it from a very reliable source and thought I would share with my brethren. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Why the hell would Patterson leave a top 15 team like TCU to come to KSU? Quote Link to comment

Looking at it objectively, without the ties, it doesn't make sense. Quote Link to comment

Looking at it objectively, without the ties, it doesn't make sense. With one major difference, KSU is in one of the "power" conferences. No matter how good TCU is right now or in the future, they will not get a shot at the NCG only BCS as an outside possibility. Quote Link to comment
LouisianaHuskerFan
If this is true then KSU has a great coach coming to them. Quote Link to comment
tattooedhusker
he'll still be coaching at a wasteland.... Quote Link to comment
HoustonHusker
living in the midcites.. i could see this happening. a good tcu team gets far less press around here than a one-win smu team. worse yet, north texas is even getting more press in what todd dodge could do. if they had beaten utah, then maybe all the press would go to him. huskersok
Would be a nice addition to the Big12 to get him in the conference. GBR Quote Link to comment

HSKRNOKC
I know that he seemed pissed about it at the time.. I actually thought it was a smoke screen. Quote Link to comment
