redout22
That would be sweet to have some trick plays for the game. Maybe even have some of the seniors run them too Quote Link to comment
hack
that fourth down play...with Taylor walking toward the sideline, i'm not a callahan fan, but that was classic. that was classic. that and the come from behind drive at tA&M are the two most enduring sequences from the callahan era. Vince from ShamWOW
Cally did have a knack for having some real doozy of some plays Yes and Auburn and their fans are still laughing. That was because we didn't execute. That fake punt deep in our own territory would have gone for a LOT of yards if Shanle wouldn't have dropped the ball. Don't blame Callahan. Sure it would have Bill. Quote Link to comment
BigRedPowerWagon
Yeah that game was fun. It seemed like the only game Cally just let the guys have fun because Colorado was so overmatched. It was if Callahan was just laughing at them and toying with them like a cat with a ball of yarn. I seem to recall a certain Nebraska game where the huskers were the yarn. not so offensive when its your team doing it is it? Laugh it up Fuzball Quote Link to comment

BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
I say a good trick would be to let the FB get some carries. They'd be like "Whoa! Where'd that come from?" Quote Link to comment

I would love to see the FB get some carries. Each stadium should shout a different syllable from Mackovicka. Mack - O - Vick - A. I think it would be sweet. Quote Link to comment

zoogs
So here's a thought. Before games, if you're going to run something, please don't tell the papers? That's kinda weird...isn't it? Quote Link to comment
sCrUmptious!
I don't know about the rest of you, but I would have liked to have seen Nebraska run a few more trick plays today. Quote Link to comment
husker2010
i think it was ridiculous to run the same field goal fake...cu had seen it on tape and what were they to lose by sending someone right to the path of the toss to henery...we would've been better off kicking it, especially since it was shorter than henery's ~57 yarder Quote Link to comment
tattooedhusker
Pelini had said that it wasn't the same play, he was going to pass it this time. It was not a designed run. Quote Link to comment

If he would have run into him he wouldn't catch the ball or at least score the TD, the D holds and at the point of Ganz's sack we would be leading 30 - 24? Quote Link to comment
