Sigh. Here we go again. According to MU fans B. Gabbert was overrated and played terrible competition when he was committed to NU. As soon as he decommitted and committed to MU he was the best quarterback in the country. Do you really want to play this game? You're a member of one of the most fickle and fair-weather fan bases in the country.

 

Don't make this about MU, it was one of YOUR fans who just stated Gabbert wasn't worthy of 4 stars. I simply countered that this statement was in contradiction to many of the posts in Tyler's recruiting profile prior to rumors of his decommitment. So do I want to play this game? Absolutely because as they say the proof is in the pudding, and it's pretty easy to see the pudding here.

P.S. I would say that many MU fans are happy to have Tyler on the team, although most of the MU fan base realizes that Tyler will probably never see the field in a starting role at QB. Based on that Sean Robinson was the better of the two and he is only ranked as a 3 star. If I am not mistaken Sean is 6ft5 and runs in the 4.5s. Oh he also camped at ND and if you ever look down a Charlie Weis roster he brought in talent. Gabbert is a short skinny kid with a big arm. Any time you pull what he did it isnt going to sit well with NU fans. If you Mizzery fans dont like that then get off this thing called HUSKERboard.com.

 

He will never play at MU. Maybe his RS senior year if the Franklin kid doesnt RS.

Sounds like someone needs to lighten up. I wasn't complaining about MU fans coming onto Huskerboard. YOU were the one bringing up the Nebraska posters on Tigerboard. I explained why those posters are there . . . which is entirely the fault of Tigerboard posters . . . and you got all defensive. If anyone is being hypocritical here it is yourself. Look at the complaints you keep repeating . . . when I've proven that your fanbase does and says the exact same things. Do you understand what I am saying? I'm honestly trying to make this as simple and clear as possible.

It's not quite hypocritical when the main reason here hate people from mizzou is the fact that you jump off and on the bandwagon more often than a porn star jumps off and on ****. Take a look at it.... Come in and talk sh#t before the nu mu football game, you say you'll be back, then get your ass handed to you, never come back. Then, CC and TG decommit from NU, and you come back talking about how great MU's class is and how great you are. It's pathetic. CC goes to a 2nd tier school in TCU (yes, 2nd tier, sure they've had a good few years, but when an undefeated season gets you anything less than a MNC opportunity, you're 2nd tier.) You get TG. Congrats, he'll never see the field. You get Gabbert, we get Rome.. I'll take that trade 100 times out of 100. Thanks and good day.

So perhaps you should probably read the whole thread first before making an assumption. It was I who proved that Huskers do the same thing Tiger fans do and vise versa, so the whole point really was that neither fan bases should be commenting or asking why each other are on their opponents respective boards, because both sides do it. The only thing that is at issue here is which side brought it up first, in this case it was EZ-E.

There is too much BS in that post to even warrant a proper response. So I guess I will just have to ask where all of the Husker fans were after last year's beatdown in Lincoln? They were nowhere to be found especially on Tigerboard. This year before the game was even played there were but 2 people who regularly came to TB. Up until the 4th quarter there was NO ONE on TB saying anything, and in fact this very site was locked down. Then miraculously as soon as NU took the lead it was back online and everyone started showing back up on TB.

 

So please don't give me that crap.
