Alamo City Husker
Or is his first touchdown of his UNL career on a OPTION play a good sign of future things? Quote Link to comment
huskrplaya
I sure hope so. He and Burkhead are gonna be all over the place. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
it's a good thing, and he will be much better by this time next year too. Quote Link to comment
Touchdown Tommie
Lee ran the option earlier in the game. I think once the better athletes keep going here the play calling will expand. Quote Link to comment
Fuzzy
Seeing the speed that both Green and Burkhead possess, i would not be surprised that in the next couple years we start seeing more option plays from the both of them. Quote Link to comment

Agreed. The offense was pretty vanilla last night. Not a whole lot of variety in play calling. There was a lot of zone read, PA roll outs, couple shovel passes, and then a few long balls. Say Watson gets a head coaching job. I wouldnt mind solich back as a coordinator. Although it would be weird for solich working under pelini Quote Link to comment
zoogs
I would. I like this offense. Quote Link to comment

Although it would be weird for solich working under pelini I think we should pray nightly that Shawn Watson calls Nebraska home for a number of years to come. We got one bargain in the aftermath of the Callahan apocalypse, and he was it. They'll come calling, but I hope he stays on for awhile. We need him. Quote Link to comment

BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
He was the number 6 dual threat quarterback in 2009 per Rivals. I think we got a good one!! Quote Link to comment
