huzkerbob
I'm always a big fan of the throw back passes, and an even bigger fan of the hook and latter ala Boise state in 07. FWFbGw-jZvc&NR=1 But why no love for the ol' Black 41 flash reverse? gJtZYKIzzZE You just can't execute much better than these two plays! But I would have to agree with skersfan1705. If MU can't slow down our running game there will be no need for any tricks. Especially if it's a soggy field. Quote Link to comment
gin_32
I still like the play where Zac Taylor seemed confused and was walking to the coach. Next I new they hiked the ball and ran the ball. That was kind of fun to watch. Quote Link to comment

That was kind of fun to watch. The Packers tried running the same type of play against the Vikings. It's normally only good for a few yards or so. Quote Link to comment
TheKiD
Trick plays seemed to get us in trouble last year. I think there's a reason we haven't seen any yet this year. I'm hoping we don't need them. Quote Link to comment
BigRedNV
In the VT game, there was indeed a 4th and goal where we ended up punting... Not a good thing, EVER. $hit...yer right! Guess that is a possibility for the 'sKers! Quote Link to comment
DRAINO
I would expect something.. bye weeks are usually a good time to put in trick plays. Hopefully our "trick" plays work a little better then our "trick" defense we put in last year against MU. Quote Link to comment
billdozer15
I think we should punt on 3rd down, that would be really confusing..............for pretty much everyone involved. With everyone confused it should have a pretty good success rate. Quote Link to comment

Besides the fake field goal against Colorado (which Henery and possibly the refs is/are to be blamed for), I don't really remember any other times where trick plays hurt us? I remember Lucky's throw back to Ganz, fake field goal where Wesch threw it against TTech, fake field goal LSU-style against Kansas and maybe a halfback pass or two. Quote Link to comment
CAHusker
Ok - Ok wait I got it. If we win the coin toss elect to kickoff first. Then onside the kick, once recovered, now follow me on this one, punt the ball on first down and pin them deep. No need for trick play fellas - just play hard and freekn win. Quote Link to comment

redout22
I think on the opening kickoff (if we kick off) it should be an onside kick. Quote Link to comment
Army Husker
I think on the opening kickoff (if we kick off) it should be an onside kick. Not that I am in anyway suggesting this, but has anyone ever seen this happen before? Nothing comes to mind for me. Quote Link to comment
AF Husker Fan
we tried a trick play against oklahoma last year (a fake field goal run) and they "intercepted" the over-the-shoulder toss and scored. Quote Link to comment
