np_husker
Any of you out there listening to 1620, did I hear right that Ganz is joining the coaching staff at NU? Quote Link to comment
caveman99
Yes he will be, sometime after the regular season. I think he announced it on Big Red Wrap Up last week. Quote Link to comment

Vince from ShamWOW
I heard the same thing. I think he will be good for the program. Quote Link to comment
holvy83
Got to start somewhere. That must be the standard, seems like most QB's go on to be grad assistants. Isn't Taylor a GA somewhere? Quote Link to comment
redout22
Thats sweet. He will be a good coach one day. Quote Link to comment

Yeah Taylor is at Texas A&M if I'm not mistaken. And wasn't Frost one at that one purple and silver school in the state to the south of us? Quote Link to comment

I think he pulled Blount away from the crowd after Punch-gate. Quote Link to comment

I think he got his GA start at Kansas State then went to Northern Iowa to coach linebackers. Quote Link to comment
Paul in WI
Good for Joe. I think he really cares about the program, and that means he'll do his best. Quote Link to comment

Became the Defensive Coordinator at Northern Iowa after a couple of years. Pretty good resume thus far. I remember USC interviewing him on their show just before the season and he had just gotten hired at Oregon. You could tell that he really wants to get back to NU somehow, happy for his job and opportunities but definitely seemed like he wanted to come back to NU. I think it would be cool to have him on the staff in a couple of years, he can coach a lot of positions. Quote Link to comment
get huskin!
That's good, I think he will be good for us... Plus, our sidelines NEED more groovy sideburns! Quote Link to comment
Alex 4.0
It's been awhile since we have seen a guy with as much gusto as Ganz... I think that was a huge part of his success. I think he will be a helluva coach some day. Quote Link to comment
