Nearly any college game you watch, you're going to see ducks, underthrows, overthrows, etc etc. Lee is nowhere near a college marquee QB, but he's playing fine today. It's sad, but at this point people are willing to jump on him for any tiny mistake he makes. Quote Link to comment

Meno Holt––some kind of hybrid offensive lineman, as he can get holding fouls but not catch the ball. Again, our offense is stupid, undisciplined, and self-destructive. Our defense should have made this a cakewalk for them by now, and they can't get it done. We may win based off a defensive score, but good luck to Lee and Co. He's no threat to run, so it seems like a dumb choice to me. What happened to all the heavy sets and running the ball that we heard about all week? Quote Link to comment

Because it is obvious we need a spark on offense and Green should have opportunity to see if he can provide it. Lee is throwing the same lateral passes , 4 yard dinks, and has happy feet in the pocket which is getting us nowhere (see 7 points after 2 qtrs ). Paul dropped the one big play...I will give Lee that. We don't need a "spark". Our offense has been fine besides the stupid mistakes. Having Green in isn't going to suddenly make guys start covering the ball better which is all we need to do. If anything, having Green in who doesn't fully know the audibles, protection schemes and tends to force passes right now will only cause more mistakes on our part. Quote Link to comment

He has thrown some bad balls today. I really hope Green starts the 2nd half or we may not score again in this game offensively because Lee can't sustain a drive. Besides the pass to Gilly and the pass to that invisible guy on that last drive, what passes are you referring to? Zac is 14-22 for 181, and we have 250 yards of total offense. We have been fine on offense, besides the fact we have become mental midgets and had terrible luck. 7 points against ISU at home!!!!!! That's fine? we only have 7 points because we have too many turnovers! only one can really be linked to Lee. Helu fumbled on the opening drive. A freak volleyball type pick. He has called 2 of the same damn lateral pass plays that never work for us. The same lateral pass play OU picked 6 last year, and TT recovered for 6. We dropped one that luckily wasn't a fumble, and gained 3 yards on another. We need to take more shots down field to open up this dink and dunk passing game. Personally I think it is time for Green to take over and a change in offensive philosophy needs to occur. Run the ball with the QB and RB's. Don't throw Green in there and make him throw throw throw. Dude has been pretty on today, but it seems like you remember the bad ones besides the good throws he has made today. Zac is 14-22 for 181, and we have 250 yards of total offense. His pass to McNeill that led to an int. Also missed him wide open earlier in the game. I'm just not going to let one good pass to Paul let me forget that most of his passes today are behind the line or short to his WR with them making the catch and run. He does not have the confidence and drive to let us score on a regular basis and is clearly not the guy that will give us a big 12 title. Quote Link to comment

We have had the ball and moved it at will on these guys. But we have kicked ourselves in our own ass. The offense is fine. We just need to stop being careless with the ball. Quote Link to comment
