Vince from ShamWOW
Okay, I'll admit Sioux Falls isn't 4 times zones from NE - however I was having dinner last night at an Italian restaurant up there and in walks a guy wearing a Husker cap. I love it when I am out of town/ state and I run into other Husker fans. It happens a lot, that I see Huskers fans across the country, so I'm not sure why I am always so surprised when I see one out and about. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
We saw lots of Husker sweatshirts when we lived in San Francisco. Nebraska isn't exactly the best climate in the world, so folks either move away or vacation elsewhere, but we take our Husker pride with us. Like most everyone else around here, half to 3/4 of my t-shirts are Husker shirts, so whenever I was out hiking or at the beach or running errands, I was wearing my Husker gear out there, too. Chef K
Every once in a great while I'll run across a fellow Husker fan out here in PSUcks territory. Last Sunday for instance while grocery shopping I crossed paths with a guy wearing a Husker hoodie. {I was wearing a Husker T shirt under my Flyers coat.} I initiated the chat, and we discussed the progress of the football program and the success of the women's basketball season. Stu
New Mexico. Guy at walmart, working there non the less, says 'nice shirt'. then we start complaining about the :01 added during the texas game, and both shook hands as we said TEXAS SUCKS. That was 6 miles from the texas border. Felt really good. Almost too good. I may have peed a little. Quote Link to comment
T_O_Bull
Vinnie, you came to Sioux Falls and didn't let me know you were in town? I would have bought dinner just to spend a couple hours with another Big Time Huser Fan. Where did you dine? T_O_B Quote Link to comment
krc1995
The security scanner at the Lafayette Louisiana airport is a Husker fan. Its a small airport and he always says "one Husker fan going home" when he checks my ID. I still have to take my shoes off though. Quote Link to comment

huzkerbob
I dunno, I live in DFW so I see fellow Husker fans just about every day of the week! Quote Link to comment
sky hy ironman
Hey good thread, The best I have is mucking a concrete pour (30 miles west of Chicago) and a finisher had a Husker tatoo. This guy was an Illinois boy who didn't really have an interest in college football but two RED BLOODS moved out here for work and befriended him into our tribe. Quote Link to comment
Oklahoma Husker
My parents went to France about 3 years ago and ran into some Husker fans over there. Of course they were from Nebraska and just vacationing but to find them in another country is pretty crazy. 1 Quote Link to comment

huskernumerouno
I have ran into a couple here at KAF Afghanistan. One guy I saw was a guy from India wearing a Husker Shirt his boss had given him a few years ago. A little faded but still a Husker shirt. Quote Link to comment
