Now that some of the less important things are behind us, like the regular season and recruiting, its time for this unbiased poll. I posted an article a few weeks ago about Eastern Washington planning on putting in a red field. (its my first poll so I hope I don't mess it up)

I say real grass & bring the Florida Gators to town as our 1st game ;)

Although I don't think Gilly will get any playing time b/c he'd fall on his face before reaching the huddle.

On a serious note, I remember reading that almost 3/4 of NFLers prefer natural field turf to artifical, and I bet that's almost no different in college. I'm not sure if one form of turf causes more injuries than the other, but I've heard that players get more fatigued on artificial turf than on grass.

Plus, every time I see our boys with grass stains, I picture our back-to-back titles in '94 & '95. Don't tell me Bo's tough defenses wouldn't look even more fierce with grass hangin' from their facemasks & dirt in their teeth.

The FieldTurf we have now is excellent. Nebraska was the first high-profile team to use it, and we helped put the FieldTurf company on the map. Tom Osborne and Frank Solich were the driving forces behind the installation.

I believe FieldTurf is now used in over 75 pro and college fields. The players like it, and the field looks awesome.

If it was real grass how could I craft another beer pong table? two-tone for the win!

I am incredibly jealous at your beer pong table. I must get one.

I really really like the two-toned turf. I think it looks bad ass. It does cause more injuries, but in a crazy weather state like nebraska I think you need it.
