Liverpool are set to pocket $500,000 from the English FA following the injury Steven Gerrard picked up while playing for England in Wednesday night's friendly against France.

 

The FA's insurers will pay a sum that covers Gerrard's wages while he is injured. An estimation of four weeks on the sidelines means the figure will be around $500,000.
