I See Red People
I sent a bouquet of flowers to UT, sorry they smell like turds. Quote Link to comment
Scarlet Overkill
They are truly knights in shining armor, aren't they? And I See Red People - did you rub the flowers on some K-State fans to get that smell or what? Quote Link to comment
MGoBlue
The rest of the Big12 might be happy, but Texas is pissed. Quote Link to comment

Scarlet Overkill
The rest of the Big12 might be happy, but Texas is pissed. I feel a tad guilty, but I am enjoying a good ol' fashioned meltdown right about now. Quote Link to comment
Street Novelist
The complete meltdown by Texas fans is amazing. Who could have predicted Texas would actually end up in a worse position and Nebraska in a better one? :laughpound Quote Link to comment

Who could have predicted Texas would actually end up in a worse position and Nebraska in a better one? :laughpound i am thoroughly enjoying this, and what is even better (ok, not better, but a close second) is that the Pac 10 is stuck with colorado, only taking them thinking it would cause the downfall (along with the assumed departure of NU) of the big 12 and they could get whoever they wanted. edit: i don't understand why they are blaming the aggies? for staying? UT could still leave? and they are blaming Dan Beebe? for what? finally doing his job? Quote Link to comment
Sparker
The funny thing is, they would never admit Nebraska is that important to the Big XII. They are posting things like "Can we even keep our automatic BCS bid?" and the whole world is coming to an end. Guess we are more important to them than I thought. 2 Quote Link to comment

Who could have predicted Texas would actually end up in a worse position and Nebraska in a better one? :laughpound I think that one big reason so many are pizzed right now - one poster even said something like, "Congratulations Nebraska - you finally won". Got a big grin when I saw that one. Another poster or two were very concerned that NU was gonna get a better deal in the long run. (commence evil laugh!) Quote Link to comment

Saz
But they will have a channel that will only be seen in texas. You know what will piss off texas fans even more.......When their games get bumped from the national tv feed on ABC/ESPN, because the BIG10 contract makes ABC/ESPN give the Big10 game a higher percentage of the coverage map. Also it will b******* their HD feed...After this season I will no longer have to watch games through net feeds because of the the blackouts. Besides Texas v OU in the beginning of the season, and maybe A&M v Texas at the end of the season, what big 12 game looks like it would make anyone outside the region actually care? 307husker
Perlman & Osborne > Powers & Dodd Anybody else wonder if Texas will even be relevant in 10 years? Texas recruiting just got a lot easier (for the rest of the nation...) Quote Link to comment
Ringer02
How much will the north schools make from the tv network, or will they make anything. If that's the case then texas really is their pimp. Quote Link to comment
MichiganMan
wow. Who wants to belong to a conference where everything revolves around one school? Quote Link to comment
