JTrain
Crouch and Bradford were both Sophomores when they won it. Gonna be a tough road row to hoe. Quote Link to comment
EZ-E
No other freshmen QB has had the defense that TMart will have behind him. Quote Link to comment
Vizsla1
I would like to see the defense give themselves a shut out... it would be a great boost going into Washington Quote Link to comment
TheRockSays
Crouch and Bradford were both Sophomores when they won it. Gonna be a tough road row to hoe. None of the teams in the B12 this year are as good as some of the ones in years past. OU had quite a solid run as did UT with Young. NU had their years as well. Nobody with a Freshman QB was going to beat those teams. I don't see a dominant(how about kudos for proper spelling/context!) team in the B12 this year that we can't beat. Quote Link to comment
huskers17
Crouch and Bradford were both Sophomores when they won it. Gonna be a tough road row to hoe. Bradford won it as a RS Freshman, won it again as a RS Sophomore (played in NC game against Florida), and got hurt his junior year then went to the NFL. Quote Link to comment
VA Husker Fan
Going back to the Big 8, Jamelle Holieway not only took OU to the conference but the national championship as well. Quote Link to comment
Enhance
Anything is possible if you have a good defense to back you up. A solid run game will be helpful too. IMHO, Martinez has an advantage over most redshirt freshman quarterbacks in that he is really fast, which will allow him to stay calmer and within in his element. He won't be asked to make as many plays with his arm. Quote Link to comment
Danimal
Wouldn't surprise me to see us go with experience at qb a time or two this season. Also, I think we'll be more run-oriented against the better teams. Gotta put the kid in position to succeed and let him grow into the job some. Quote Link to comment
