Nexus
While it's still early in the season, I'd still love to hear what those "media scouts" think of these numbers up to this point. McShay, Mayock and Casserly were touting McCoy as the better NFL prospect before the draft. Suh leads all rookies on the d-line. You can view the whole thing here. BTW, Suh's stats reflects 6 games while McCoy's reflects 5 games due to a bye week during week 4. At this point, McCoy is averaging 1.4 tackles per game while Suh is averaging 3.5. BIGREDIOWAN
Love it when things like this come up. It shows that all those morons run their mouths when they really don't have a clue what they are talking about. Quote Link to comment

Paul in WI
Ohhhhhhh but Suh is not good with his hands. He's strictly a bull rusher. The McCoy apologists are already at work. They're the "stats aren't everything" crowd. You know.....it is all about those other intangibles that McCoy brings.... Quote Link to comment

AllTheGoodNamesAreTaken
I dont think its fair to McCoy to base talent or productivity on silly things like "stats" or "results". sometimes, the tackles you dont make are just as important as the *i cant even finish this sentence* Quote Link to comment
DJR313
Bucs are 3-2, Lions are 1-5. As impressive as his stat line has been, unfortunately it hasn't translated into W's. I believe they are on the right track. Quote Link to comment
irieboy8
lions are the best 1-5 teams i've seen in a long time........ Quote Link to comment
Hercules
Good god Suh... beast... Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt39
lions are the best 1-5 teams i've seen in a long time........ To be fair they got boned hard in week one with the Calvin Johnson call. Quote Link to comment
bleedNUred
There was never a doubt around here. No there truly wasn't, he was such a one of a kind guy. I couldn't believe people were even thinking Crick was going to be near what Suh was for us. Crick looked better because of Suh, thus far into this season he hasn't impressed me anyways. Anyways back on topic Suh is by far the most dominant force I've ever witnessed in college football. Looks like he's on his way in the NFL. Quote Link to comment
kansas husker
I think everyone is underestimating the genius of Mcshay and company. They said McCoy was more explosive and there for would be a better NFL DT. The stats clearly agree with that statement. Quote Link to comment
Nexus
FYI, Suh ranks 1st in sacks and 4th in total tackles among all DT's (veterans & rookies). If he keeps producing at this pace, he could very well make the Pro Bowl and Defensive Rookie of the Year. Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
what else was that weasel mcshay going to say? "i agree with everything kiper says, all of the time". Quote Link to comment
