Skull&Bones
I was not happy with the d overall but they made some key stops. The D tonight made some mistakes but they went up against a very good offense. Could you imagine trying to prepare for that style of offense with that talent (future NFL RB's and WR's) I am very happy and will sleep muy bueno tonight. Quote Link to comment
holvy83
Defense made the adjustments in the 2nd half, but still pressure on the QB is non existent Still too many missed tackles! OSU offense has a lot of weapons Great turnaround for the offense, good redemption game for the receivers, Martinez did not have many good throws but the receivers made great plays. NebraskaShellback
:corndance :corndance :corndance The best trick play of the game, Henry fake punt and the guy can run good. What a game shoot'em out style. I love it! :corndance :corndance OSU has some talents and did not give up in the game. Go HUSKERS! Quote Link to comment
irafreak
What we learned... We are going bowling This is the best offense we face unless we draw a game like Oregon in the postseason Having 0 pass rush is really hard to watch We ARE better than Texas and can't seem to have gotten our one big lousy game out of our system (sdsu could've been one) I am glad ISU is on the road The hurry-up (more like hyper) offense really drags out a game The north will be decided next week. chamrocck
Actually this game confirmed a lot about stuff I already knew: TMart can throw it. We have zero pass rush. Our run D is fairly weak. Our O line is inconsistent. Kick-off coverage is poor. Martin is a beast on special teams. Henery is always clutch. Paul can be clutch. We tackle sloppy. Catch the ball and hold onto the ball, and we will win. Couple of new things: Reed is a legitimate threat in the passing game. Gimme some Yoshi and he did alright. Quote Link to comment
walksalone
Sorry I was confused, posting this for anyone else who was also confused in the OP. pon·der·ous/ˈpändərəs/Adjective 1. Slow and clumsy because of great weight: "her footsteps were ponderous". 2. Dull, laborious, or excessively solemn. More » Dictionary.com - Answers.com - Merriam-Webster - The Free Dictionary Going back to read now that I know what it is. Google "Casey Kasem ponderous" if you're not sure what the OP is referring to. Once again, Knapplc, comin' through like an f'n champion... Well done sir Quote Link to comment
bluemoon22
Also, is it just me, or were we rushing 4 guys the majority of the time? That's what it seemed like to me too... Quote Link to comment
