Malth
That's cool and all, but how much do these records mean if you just restrict them to freshman. No doubt impressive, but I'd rather see where they stand as compared to players from every class Quote Link to comment

kansas husker
That's cool and all, but how much do these records mean if you just restrict them to freshman. No doubt impressive, but I'd rather see where they stand as compared to players from every class well his total yards today was the 3rd best performance ever and is on pace to break pretty much every carrer record there is. On a side note BK tied 9 other players for most toucdowns for a wide reciver in a single game. edit: he is only 40 yards away from being the number 27 in carrer passer and if the huskers play 14 games this year his is on pace for 30 touchdowns which would break Mike Rozier's single season scoring record of 174 Edited October 24, 2010 by kansas husker Quote Link to comment
mnhusker
He just keeps getting better, let me add it is amazing what he can do when the rest of the Offense does what it needs to do. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
The ceiling is so high with Martinez and as he improves it gets so scary....for opposing defenses!!! Quote Link to comment
Paul in WI
I'm sure that he's still going to have some down games, but the simple fact is that he is miles ahead of any other freshman qb to put on a jersey for the Huskers--and THAT is exciting. Quote Link to comment

Yes, it certainly is. It's just what the doctor ordered for joing the Big10 next year too. THREE years remaining.....wow!! Quote Link to comment

J/k- still not convinced last weeks benching was deserved. On the flip side maybe it allowed him to not become too frustrated and disgruntled, allowing to focus this week. Ahem. Quote Link to comment
kansas husker
Just imagine what his stats would look like if he had played consistantly in all games. He has already had two "down games." I have to eat crow on T-Mart he has far exceeded what I thought he could. I don't remver ever bashing him persay, but I thought Lee was the better option and I was wrong. Quote Link to comment
Ponderosa
He became the first Husker in history to pass for 300 yards and rush for 100 yards in the same game. Link 323 passing 112 rushing Quote Link to comment
