Yes. There are times where I do find a room that either A.) It takes forever to start the game or B.) The game starts and then the connection is horrible and everybody gets booted out of the room. zoogs Posted November 20, 2010 Share Posted November 20, 2010 I've only played MW and MW2. MW2 recently. What sucked about MW2 was you couldn't lean anymore. What was up with that? NO cover. I guess playing on PC with a keyboard cramped the movement a bit (no analog controls), but you were either completely hidden or completely exposed, without being able to return to cover quickly, unless you were just standing up/ducking behind a box. I also thought MW2 was insanely harder than MW. MW missions had some good battles, and there were some difficult points (reaching extraction after the sniper mission), but in MW2, everything seemed to be: millions of enemies coming at you from every direction, not a lot of allies, and the guys on your side tended to just die. Or maybe I just suck! Maybe it's less of a difference than I'm making it out to be. Anyway, the storyline in MW2 was pretty epic. Looking forward to Black Ops whenever I get to it eventually. The last match I played I had 2 kills and 29 deaths! If I ever had 2 kills and 29 deaths I probably wouldn't touch the game.....ever again I've gotten to the point where I had 2 kills and 8 deaths and quit....ya I know I pussed out and quit but that was on the first day of owning it. I must say I've got to use the helicopter gun about 3 times so far. I'm slowly getting better but only wish there were better guns...the Famas is the best one so far. Quote Link to comment

I had to put it to recruit for that part of the mission. Get to the trenches at the bottom of the hill that the Viet Cong dudes are shooting from and just hide. Thats what I did and my guys just followed. U would think the guys would stop coming eventually but its like they have unlimited number of troops. Quote Link to comment

There's some barrels of Napalm near the bottom of the hill that you can push over to really help out in that part. What I did (on Veteran) was wait until the first plane strike after the talking sequence, then kill as many people as i could on the left side of the hill and make a run for the bunker that the other marines are running to. Once you get there, pop a china lake shot into the weapons cache on the right side of the hill. Make your way over there and load up on guns, then it's just luck on whether or not you can knock over those napalm barrels (run up to them and hit x or circle) and try and get into cover as soon as you do. The enemies respawn infinitely so try to time it out. Quote Link to comment

Blackshirtsguru Posted November 23, 2010 Share Posted November 23, 2010 I got it for PC since I am not a big fan of console games (Other than Madden that is). Gameplay is still somewhat laggy but updates have been slowly fixing that issue. To me the game feels like the old one's. I just wish they would improve the gaming engine each time around. New maps, new perks, new guns, same old game play. Don't get me wrong, it is fun...but.....they could have done better with the over all game. One great thing about this game vs the old one's...is dedicated servers. Quote Link to comment
