Before we beat them, they were #2 in the computers, after we beat them, they dropped to #4. After their second loss they only dropped to #12 and are now back up to #10 thanks to beating KU haha Quote Link to comment

We show up and play a smart game against OU and we can cut the Big XII the check for our exit and pound on a craptastic Big East team in a BCS bowl. Quote Link to comment

TAMU beat OU handily, beat Nebraska and lost to Okie St. Missouri is ranked ahead of us because they're schedule is significantly better than ours by most accounts. According to Sagarin, MU has the 23rd best schedule and we have the 44th. Our loss to Texas hurts us more than their loss to Tech, and their non-conference turned out to have two pretty decent teams (SDSU and Illinois) while ours had only one (Washington). If you want to place head-to-head considerations over all else, you should check out the MinV Rankings: At right are the rankings of all NCAA Division 1-A college football teams thru the games of November 20, 2010 using MinV, a model developed by Jay Coleman of the University of North Florida. MinV generates a ranking that minimizes the number of game score violations -- that is, the number of times a game's winner is ranked behind the team it defeated.
