Just taking some guesses based on the OU depth chart, moving people up a class and adding on letters.

It looks like our o-line situation isn't going to get any better next year.

Not a lot of depth at defensive ends.

If Dennard goes to the draft our corner experience is like 1 game but Evans looks like another solid up and comer.

How much is the nickleback going to be used in the Big 10 against teams like Wisconsin and Iowa?

General thoughts on players you are expecting to step up next year?

I expect DE Jason Ankrah to step up next season. He's gotten some decent PT this year, so there's no reason to think he won't improve for 2011.

LB Fisher has to be chompin' at the bit to get back on the field after missing this entire season due to a broken leg. His role could be integral to our success in the Big 10.

WR is arguably one of the thinnest positions for us at this point. Kinnie will get his catches as our #1 WR, but it's pretty thin behind him. I'd expect Enunwa to step up as a decent threat and possible #2. But, there's also guys like Jean-Baptiste, Kenny Bell and Gilly who could make a difference too. Lord knows we'll need it.

Just think if Joe Broekemeier was a senior to be. He would have been the second coming of Todd Peterson in 2011 the way he was playing at the end of this season. Hate losing guys like that. We could have really used him next year.

I want to see Carnes in the mix at QB. I also am foaming at the mouth at the idea of Rex Burkhead and Aaron Green together as our running backs.

I added in some of those suggestions with question marks.

Looking at the full roster it seems like Bo managed to recruit about half of the prospective DB's in the nation the past two years...

Does anyone know if Yoshi is moving over to guard or what? All year long people said he just needed a little more time to develop.

Overall Krill, i agree with that mock depth chart for next year. I think we will see Nick Ash poke his head into the rotation on the OL. I think Austin Jones or Aaron Green will see some playing time next year. I think Quincy Enunwa might even surpass Gilleylen as the starter for the Y receiver. I think Ankrah will be backing up Meredith again and see rotation on that side, but the competition will come down to Williams and Martin, which i think Martin will win. Thaddeus Randle saw some playing time so i wouldn't be surprised to see more of him with Moore when Crick and Steinkuhler come out. I think Andrew Green will some more playing time as well with Ciante Evans and Dennard. Cassidy, Osborne, and Smith will play the peso/safety spots. LB will be interesting to see, David is a guarantee to start, but behind him will be a 4 way battle between May, Fisher, Compton and Whaley. I don't think May will start, him and Stoddard will be regulated to Special Teams again.

One note though, who will be the Kicker and Punter next year?

We're working on cloning Henery.

Im not sure of the kickers on the current roster that will be available next year, but we hold a verbal commitment from Nick Sade in this years recruiting class, IIRC he will be kicking in an all american game.

Remember how we just reloaded with punter after punter for a number of years? Until we ran out and Alex just said "OK, I'll do both, whatevs."

I hope we can get back to that at kicker again. We have some real promising guys in Jason Dann and Niklas Sade. Maybe Maher steps in as punter.
