Ratt Mhule
Well I think Docs job is safe. They are actually looking competitive this season against the good teams Quote Link to comment
corncraze
There still is a chance! Quote Link to comment
Hercules
Let's see the usual protocal here now is. KU wins the first game in a close hard fought game. KU blows NU out of the water in the next game. Obviously this is what happens when both games aren't blow outs Quote Link to comment
redout22
Who would have thought we would have a chance to tie the game with 10 seconds to go in the ball game. We need to find McCray Jones or Richardson. Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
Still great effort. The bigs got whipped in the 2nd half. Jeter is still the only guy that would play on any big time Big XII team. McCray tried to show he could too today. Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
Diaz has the strength of a prepubescent young boy. Almeida came to play in the first half but looked completely gassed the 2nd half. I hate Kansas basketball and their annoying fan base. Quote Link to comment

Hercules
That was not a well designed play. Quote Link to comment
huskerscott
Ballgame. KU makes the clutch free throws, Nebraska doesn't. Fundamentals again. Nebraska missed a ton of opportunities, they gave it to them. Ku didnt win the game, Nebraska lost it. We had 10 point lead and blew. They played hard, but sometimes thats not good enough. redout22
We played quite well today. Was real impressed with Jeter, what a leader. Defensively caused havoc all game long against the number 2 team in the country. Foul trouble hurt us again and so did rebounding and closing out in the second half. Losing by three on the road in the loudest stadium in the NCAA isnt bad at all. It should be a fun game when we play them at home. Quote Link to comment

Free throws, boxing out, dumb fouls, not playing aggressively in the paint - that's how we lost the game. Just fundamentals. Quote Link to comment

KU won the ball game, there is a reason that they are the 2nd best team in the country. They outhustled us and they wore us down. That is how great teams play. We outplayed them in the first half, they outplayed us in the second half when it counted. They made some big shots and played very disciplined down the stretch. Just wait tell we play Kansas at home though cause they will be in for a surprise. Quote Link to comment

Holy cow you would think that our basketball team has 20 rings the expectations you have. We played what will probably be the #1 team to the wire. Talent plays a factor. We shot our self on the foot a few times but my god tell me the last time you saw a team play a mistake free game. The things that the morris twins can do, the dunks, putbacks, noone our squad can do the athletic crap they pull off. Take a step back and recognize that this mediocre basketball program for the past 5 years could have done like years past when Kansas took a 6 point lead with nearly 5 min left and conceded a total melt down and blowout. But they fought back and worked to give themselves a chance. Quote Link to comment
