corncraze
So I wanted to test this idea that we won't have as much recruiting success in Texas in the Big 10. Anyone know any big names we are going after in Texas this year? Quote Link to comment
RockyMountainOySker
We've currently offered the following kids from Texas: Timothy Cole - LB Bralon Addison - ATH - Okie Lite commit Paul Boyette Jr. - DT Malcom Brown - DT Keep in mind the size of our 2012 class. We won't make the huge early push like we did this past year b/c of it. Also, another reason why the number of offers we have out right now is smaller than in years past. Quote Link to comment

ADS
IMO, the past couple of years we have seen Nebraska take upwards of 9 texas prospects in some classes. I could see that number lowering to maybe 3 per class, but since the B1G does not recruit Texas pretty much at all, with the exception of Purdue and Michigan, that could give us an advantage. Stumpy1
We'll continue to recruit Texas for the type of kids that we want. It might be 3 kids one year and 6 the next, just depends on what our needs will be going forward. Quote Link to comment

While being in the B1G wont kill our recruiting in Texas, it will probably hurt it some. Some kids want to stay in a confrence that allows them to play in their home state, and play schools from their home state. There are kids out there that wont give a second thought about that. The Architect
If the offense changes, I don't see why the staff doesn't go after Shane Rhodes of Klein Collins. He can play RB, SWR, PR, KR, and kid can block his butt off, he may not be huge, but he has talent and football smarts that coaches love on the side line. I believe he is visiting KSU today.
