It'sNotAFakeID
Much much easier schedule given to us by the B1G for the years 2013 and 2014. Linky link link Quote Link to comment

knapplc
Iowa game is now on Saturday? BS!!! The final game is always, always, always scheduled on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, then moved once the season's TV contracts come out. Quote Link to comment
corncraze
Looks way easier, I actually hope we add a really tough non-conference game to up our SOS Quote Link to comment
huskeraddict
Iowa game is now on Saturday? BS!!! It was only "officially" changed for 2011/2012. It will get changed soon enough. Quote Link to comment

It'sNotAFakeID
Well, I may not be a mod, but to add more support for what knapplc and huskeraddict are saying, the game doesn't get officially changed until the start of the season approaches Quote Link to comment
Creed
You got Purdue and Illinois and no Indiana in 2013 or 2014. IU is a guaranteed W whereas Purdue and more so Illinois pose more of a challenge. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Hopefully Bo isn't ran out of town for being a big meanie head to reporters by then. We could be looking at a MNC. Quote Link to comment
UGAHusker
That schedule (2013) sets up pretty well for the Huskers to gain a lot of momentum in the early part of the season; the final four game stretch though looks like it could get tricky. Quote Link to comment
It'sNotAFakeID
Which is good, because if they are undefeated and high ranked in the BCS heading into those final four weeks, and if any one of those teams (Penn State) is high ranked, and we win, well, we could be looking at a MNC Quote Link to comment
Fuzzy
I think the biggest loss is losing Wisconsin. I was looking forward to playing them every year. I am hoping that maybe this is a rotation and not a permanent change to not play Ohio State and Wisconsin. Quote Link to comment
VA Husker Fan
I think the biggest loss is losing Wisconsin. I was looking forward to playing them every year. I am hoping that maybe this is a rotation and not a permanent change to not play Ohio State and Wisconsin. I'm sure it is a rotation. We play the teams in our division and Penn St every year, plus 2 of the remaining 5 teams each year. Looks like we play them home and away, so the same two teams are played in back to back years. In 2015 and 2016, we'll play Indiana, and either OSU or Wisconsin. I don't have a source for this, but it seems real obvious. There's no way we'll never play OSU again, just as there was no way we'd play them every year since they aren't in our division and aren't our "rival" game. Things that could change this: adding more teams to the conference, changing the number of conference games, realigning the conference, and probably something else I don't see right now. bball_backer
2014 could be a fun year. Not that the conference schedule is easy, but it's definitely easier (no OSU/Wisconsin and Penn/Michigan are at home), plus you have the noncon games of Miami and at Fresno State. Take care of business like you should, and that's a very fun year. Quote Link to comment
