zoogs
Kerrigan is not a bad pick. Pats have a huge need at DL/OLB and he's one of the guys that was brought up pretty often. But Prince is available and the Pats are on the clock. I cannot believe the fortune for my team. Bill Belichick, do the right thing. Quote Link to comment
Fuzzy
Why the heck did the Vikings pick Ponder? I wouldn't have expected him to go even in the 2nd Round. Soooo many better QB's than him. They signed Brett Favre, they don't know what a QB is. When they did sign Brett Favre, he actually had the best season of his already tremendous career his first year with the Vikings. So they know what a good QB is, but I guess they just didn't want to get one this draft. The Vikings really do need a QB now bc Tavaris Jackson is really not a good throwing QB at all. I still really didn't think Ponder would go this early and seemed like a reach. Wasn't Big Ben a reach when the Steelers took him? Just throwing some hope to the Viking fans. Quote Link to comment
huskersrule95
17th pick the New England Patriots select Nate Solder/OT Colorado Quote Link to comment
Fuzzy
Not surprised by the Pats pick. They need some OL on that team. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
I wanted to see Prince go to the Pats so bad. I suppose they do have Bodden/McCourty/Butler, but come on. Prince! Quote Link to comment
krc1995
Fuzzy, end this for me, Where is Prince going? Quote Link to comment
strigori
The Lions already have a loaded defensive line and a terrible secondary. I do NOT understand that pick. They are probably using the philosophy that you take the best player available regardless of need. Many of the best GMs do this. That should be a scary d-line. And sometimes an amazing d-line is better than an ok secondary. Just look at when the Giants won the superbowl. Quote Link to comment
corncraze
This has by far been one of the weirdest drafts ever. Quote Link to comment
Parl Celini
This is unbelievable. A future top tier NFL cornerback is still on the market and no one wants all of that talent. This is really confusing the hell out of me. Quote Link to comment
Fuzzy
This has by far been one of the weirdest drafts ever. I hear ya. I wouldn't be surprised if Henery gets taken in the first round by the Steelers. Quote Link to comment
krc1995
Am I missing something, are teams not needing CBs or does Prince have some question marks surrounding him? Quote Link to comment
Fuzzy
I don't see Prince getting taken by a team that needs a CB until either the Giants, Eagles, Seahawks or Ravens. Quote Link to comment
krc1995
Well i guess he's not going in the next pick either Quote Link to comment

I had another post after that and said that they weren't expecting him there and with Fairly projected as a top 5 pick by a lot of people and still having him there, they had to take him.
