He was hoping it was nothing serious, but the doc's said he will be out the remainder of the season  2 good LB'S out for the season. NamelessHusker Posted October 10, 2005 Share Posted October 10, 2005 Nebraska strongside linebacker Stewart Bradley may miss the rest of the season with what appears to be a serious knee injury suffered Saturday against Texas Tech.  Team doctors will do an MRI on Monday, the Journal Star has learned. But preliminary examinations show that a torn anterior cruciate ligament is likely  If Bradley, a 6-foot-4, 240-pound junior, indeed tore his ACL, he would miss the rest of the season but return in time for spring practice.  Through five games, Bradley ranks fifth on the team with 26 tackles, including five for losses. The Utah native is tied for third on the squad with six quarterback hurries.  Adam Ickes, a senior walk-on from Page, would likely replace Bradley as the strongside linebacker starter. The 6-2, 225-pound Ickes has 11 tackles this season and two blocked field-goal attempts, including the block that preserved Nebraska’s 7-6 win against Pitt on Sept. 17   Link Quote Link to comment
