BigRedBuster
I really wish I could get this in Nebraska. Quite possible the best light beer I have ever had. Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
tried the alaskan brewing's smoked porter and rogue chocolate stout over the weekend. both were very good. really enjoyed that smoked porter, unique flavor and pretty delicious. picked up a few beers i am very excited to try: ska brewing rudie session ipa breckenridge avalanche odell's levity i got those because i have been drinking a lot of heavy stouts and porters and wanted something lighter that i could drink over a longer period. but i still could not resist getting breckenridge's vanilla porter and tallgrass' buffalo sweat vanilla bean. both of those are extremely solid with really good flavor. i particularly like the vanilla bean for the coffee notes. a friend of mine also gave me a bottle of the boulevard/odell silver anniversary ale. i think that will be pretty solid. should be ready for the NYE celebration. Well, how were they? i just sobered up from drinking them all. but i really liked the anniversary ale. i only had a small glass since i shared, but i thought it was pretty good. a lot of people on the internets were not impressed and expected something bolder, i guess. but i thought it was pretty solid. i preferred avalanche to levity, but they were both very good. i also really liked rudie. i can see why people would not like this beer because it tastes very watered down, as opposed to just lighter. but for some reason i really enjoy it. you get the hops flavor, but it does not linger and become overbearing. which is what i want in a session ipa. for instances, founders all day ipa is a really good session ipa, but it really just tastes like a normal ipa, a very good one, but i do not think you would know it had a lower alcohol content just by drinking it. rudie is much different in that it does taste like a light beer version of an ipa. carlfense
Dales Pale Ale. I'll probably be drinking that for the next month or so. Ecstatic that it's finally available in NE. Also need to get my hands on some Ten Fidy. http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/2681/34483/ Quote Link to comment

We got that a few times in college. We stopped buying it because no one would drink it, no matter how cheap it is. http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/beer-30-light/62528/ Quote Link to comment
GM_Tood
Trying out some local brews in Scottsdale this week I came across Kilt Lifter, from Four Peaks Brewing. Tasty Scottish Ale. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
It's not even 11:00 am and I am already wishing it was 5 so I could have an ice cold one and relax. Bad thing about having HS basketball games on Thursday nights is that it makes your mind think it's already Friday only problem is you have to get up and THEN have Friday. Quote Link to comment
