You talking about the winter pack with the gingerbread and cinnamon horchata beers? I did a fall sampler first. But I just picked up a Spring sampler a couple weeks ago and thought it was good as well. I skipped the winter sampler and went with Leinenkugels instead because I like the Snowdrift Vanilla Porter. GSG
Hit up Fort Collins Brewery and the Horse and Dragon Brewery on Saturday. FCB had a smoked IPA which was like a little campfire in your mouth. Pretty tasty. Took home some of their smoked marzen to try out. Horse and Dragon had some good stuff. We liked their Belgian Dubbel, Imperial IPA, and their stout the best. Took home a growler of the stout for the Super Bowl. http://www.horseanddragonbrewing.com/ 1 Quote Link to comment

ColoNoCoHusker
Idk, I've had some very s****y beers that were ice cold and were still very s****y. Has to be a decent beer to begin with... Name some s****y beers. T_O_B This is a good start: http://www.ratebeer.com/Ratings/TheWorstBeers.asp Thanks GSG! That's a great start A couple not on there: Iron City/IC Light. Have it when we go out to Penn St and it's horrible stuff. Bud Light Clemato (in a can) was disgusting. Ska or Dale's did a bacon infused beer prototype; tasted like a perfectly good ale with rancid bacon grease & molasses. Boulder Brewery did a Christmas beer long time ago that amounted to a smoked porter with with every conceivable Christmas flavor (pine, holly, ginger, fruitcake, cranberry, etc). They threw most of it out, thank gawd... Quote Link to comment

No TV's in there either, which was cool. Made it feel more like an old public house Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
Went to my standby Lift Bridge Brewing in Stillwater, MN. Bought a bottle of the limited release of Biscotti Belgian style Ale and growler of Saison. Both were solid beers. Made the Super Bowl enjoyable. Quote Link to comment

I didn't catch that either. Pretty bad commerical unless you are anti-craft beer to begin with... I know Molson/Coors is (finally?) taking the craft beer market seriously from a financial perspective. Last few years, MC US has been buying heavily into tech & companies well outside their sector. Don't imagine them or AB going anywhere in my lifetime. I just find their overall response interesting. Reminds me of IBM's handling of MS & Oracle in a lot of ways... Quote Link to comment
