carlfense
I don't think Taylor's rushing stats look right. He was a pretty good runner. Zac Taylor? A good runner? Quote Link to comment

cb1954
When I first opened this thread, I was expecting more in depth statistics. Yeah, so did I. Had it with att-comp-yards-tds-ints-eff. rating. But table won't hold together here. Have a website, maybe will add it to that. It was getting late and went to bed. Here is something I put together a few months ago. Will do something similar for the above players. Quote Link to comment

He had a good dive for the endzone or two, pretending like he was Eric Crouch. I think the sacks may be counted as rushes. Explains a lot for all these guys. Quote Link to comment

Zac Taylor's only dive into the endzone was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. We were playing Pitt, the play broke down and he saw daylight so he took off, and dove from three yards away with absolutely nobody near him, it was so absolutely unnecessary Quote Link to comment

carlfense
I miss Joe Ganz... Underrated quarterback. Not sure why some in Husker Nation disliked him. Quote Link to comment
carlfense
Who disliked Ganz? There were a few on this forum . . . don't remember specific names. The common complaints were that his turnovers cost us games (like the OT Texas Tech game) and that he was too cocky. There were some fairly epic arguments. Personally, I thought he was an outstanding college quarterback and without him we wouldn't have even been competitive in that TT game. Edit: Someone used to call him "Lovebug Ganz" or something to that effect. I don't really know why. Quote Link to comment
flatwaterfan
Ooops. I was thinking you were talking Steve Taylor not Zac Taylor. My bad. I'm old Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Loved that kid, Ganz. 1 Quote Link to comment
husker B-rent
there were definitely people on this board that dislike ganzy quite a lot, most of whom still post quite frequently. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
How have I blocked that out of my head? I don't remember the Ganz wars at all. Was this around the 2007 Spring Game time? I was lurking then, not posting, so mayhap that's why I don't know about it. Quote Link to comment
