Nice to know not everyone has their head in the sand I referred to a colleague of mine in another thread...a fellow doc...I would certainly take his word...he was recruited because he could kick 60+ yard field goals with ease...snubbed the scholarship to go to med school and was not confident he could get the quality education he wanted because it seemed like everything would be handed to him. Fro asked me the time frame and let's just put it this way.... had he accepted his scholarship we would be talking about how great that game winning field goal in the 94 orange bowl was and our 3 peat. I wasn't close enough to know what his charectar was like while he was playing, but to be honest considering the fact that the NFL didn't want him as a qb and the bloodclots that ultimately ended his career in general, I can't say that I'd blame him for being a little bitter.
