IMO, here's what SHOULD happen: Title game: Bama-Okie State (if OSU wins tonight) Georgia gets BCS bowl (obviously) This slides LSU out of the BCS picture. WOW! I realize what you're saying, and you're right that this is the national perspective on the deal, but to me, letting LSU still get into the national title game with a loss is a total double-standard for the SEC. Regardless of what they've done before this point which I respect completely, if any other team from another conference were in the same situation and then lost in the conference championship, they would get booted down a few spots in the rankings. So why would it not happen to LSU? It makes no sense... Quote Link to comment
