Shatel addresses it here: Doc said that two years ago, a school had called Athletic Director Tom Osborne and asked for permission to speak to Sadler about its basketball opening. According to Sadler, Osborne called Doc and told him he didn't want him to consider the job and wanted him to stay at Nebraska. Doc said he told Osborne he would commit to Nebraska if Osborne would make a commitment to him. According to Doc, Osborne said he would. "I've got four years left on my contract," Doc said Thursday night. "I expect to finish them." Sadler wouldn't say the name of the school.
