Intramural sports in college, which ones did you play?

I did softball one year and that was kind of fun.

 

Now, flag football was fun! Our Beta team was pretty bad and by bad I mean bad.

 

The worst was when a team would not show up. Nothing worse than being all geeked up to go play a flag football game and then getting that feeling that the other team is a no show.

Soccer.

 

And I took it very seriously. Probably too seriously. One semester we had an indoor team that could have won it all, and people didn't show up for the first round of the playoffs. We lost.

 

It still hurts lol.

Flag football, volleyball, softball, basketball, indoor soccer, floor hockey, badminton, dodge ball, etc.

 

I got in on just about everything they offered. We would've won the flag football championship if I hadn't been suspended for knocking the teeth out of this guy's mouth.

 

Won a couple dodge ball titles though.

I always felt bad for the refs, they made like 20 dollars a game and had to put up with idiots (like us).

The two I can recall off the top of my head were playing in some type of water polo competition at UNL (can't remember if it was a tournie style thing or a league style, just remember that if you want to find out how remarkably out of shape you are, that will do it, and do it very quickly), and playing Ultimate Frisbee at Peru State. Our ultimate team was horrible, mainly because we couldn't get a full team of players to show up, much less anybody to sub in. So you were running all over the place just trying to get something done, or stop the other team. Fun times, and we tried, but it was a mess.
