Floyd has little personal experience when it comes to playing in Nebraska. But that doesn't mean he's ignorant when it comes to the school's rich football tradition. Floyd's uncle, Norman Floyd, was a defensive back at South Carolina in the 1980s -- and one of the most vivid college football college football memories he passed along to his nephew was the thrill he got from playing one road game in Memorial Stadium. "He got to play at the University of Nebraska," J.T. Floyd said Wednesday. "And this will be my first, and only, shot to play there. "So it'll be great to walk on the same field that he walked on." Floyd says his uncle has routinely talked about how hostile the crowd can be in Lincoln, Neb., and how great the overall atmosphere of the stadium gets each and every Saturday. Man I've seen a lot of historical games since I've been in Lincoln. Was at the biggest comeback in school history, the second biggest comeback in school history, and now this. Quote Link to comment
