KC Cowboy
For all of you Martinez haters: http://espn.go.com/college-football/conferences/statistics/player/_/stat/passing/sort/collegeQuarterbackRating/year/2012/id/5/big-ten-conference He's quietly leading the conference, including 'Heisman Hopeful' Braxton Miller, in QB ratings. Pleasantly surprised. Also found this: http://espn.go.com/ncf/conferences/statistics/team/_/stat/defense/sort/sacks/year/2012/id/5/big-ten-conference After all of our 2-gap-linemen-stand-there-so-linebackers-can-be-free nonsense, somehow we are also quietly leading the conference in sacks. Again, pleasantly surprised. Quote Link to comment

knapplc
We've been leading the conference in sacks for weeks. Until this week Eric Martin had led the Big Ten in sacks, only barely being edged out this weekend by Scott from Northwestern. Quote Link to comment
Stickney
If T-Mart can figure out how to curtail the turnovers he very well could be "championship" great. However, he remains a roller coaster. High risk, high reward. Against the best competition he has had struggles. BUT, he continues to improve. So, we shall see. First things first, win Saturday and then against MN and IA. knapplc
We had zero sacks against Sparty, which likely contributed to our dropping from first in that stat category. Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
In this day and age of spread and quick passing game, I dont think sacks happen as much as they used to. Of course, this is just speculation, as I have no stats to back it up. Quote Link to comment
