Comish
A little comparative prognostication for your input here……… The football team is at 8 wins with an absolute cap at 12 The basketball team is at 1 with approximately 29 to go. Some worry they could go winless in conference and be close to .500 in non-con. So question #1 is: Which squad will finish the season with more wins? FB or BB. (sorry I’m not gifted enough to construct the actual format to vote with a button). Question #2 is: Football is currently ranked #14 in the BCS (but with a shot to finish in the top 10) Volleyball is # 9 but has exhibited some alarming let downs lately. Who finishes the season with a higher national ranking? FB or VB Poll is not intended to disparage any of the 3 sports; Just thought it might be interesting to see if some of you believe FB could win either question. Quote Link to comment

Hoosker
Wins? - Bball Rank? - Vball Quote Link to comment
HuskerNationNick
More wins... Baseball or Basketball? lol I would say easily Basketball, as we are 2-0 already Volleyball easily on ranking. If we go and win the Rose Bowl, then football. Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
Wins: Sadly, football. I don't see basketball winning a lot of games. It's gonna be a painful year for Nebrasketball. Rank: Volleyball. Not because I think football will end with a bad rank, but because I just think that Vball will end up very high in the rankings by years end. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt316
As for who wins more between football and Basketball I'll go with the tie. Both win 12 games. As for Football and Volleyball ranking it will be Volleyball. The VB team won the Big Ten last year and only lost 3 times in conference play and they went into the tournament dead tired. This year there's far less focus on the conference record and more on being ready to play their best come tournament time. They go into the tournament at their peak and they are likely a final four team. The Football team isn't getting in the top 6 no matter how good they do going forward. Quote Link to comment
