Count 'Bility
It's not your guys' fault because Fox didn't show this angle but helmet to helmet on a defenseless player is going to draw a flag every time: *deleted gif was here* edit: EbylHusker posted it already. Oops. says a guy who probably brags all day about big boy big ten football. Dont wanna hear bud. Congratulations. Wisconsin deserved it tonight. We know those calls had no bearing on the game. beanman
What is Kenny supposed to do here, other than what he did? He probably should have went with the leg whip move instead. Link to comment
tschu
Shoulder-to-chest is apparently illegal Whatever, didn't affect the outcome of the game I guess Link to comment
Count 'Bility
What about Montee Balls td run in the 3rd where he smacks (not stiffarm-a fullblown swing) Ciante Evans across the head at the 20 yard line? This is the double standard of this whole protecting players concept that severely needs addressed. Link to comment

The officials on the field have taken it way to far. It needs to be taken out of there hands and reviewed for suspensions as I said before. Link to comment
azzgunther
I'd have thought that second .gif would have had everybody reassessing their initial stance since it shows a defenseless player getting hit helmet to helmet by another player who launched himself into the hit. Initiating Contact/Targeting an Oppenent 1. No player shall initiate contact and target an opponent with the crown (top) of his helmet. When in question, it is a foul. 2. No player shall initiate contact and target a defenseless opponent above the shoulders. When in question, it is a foul. You can complain that it shouldn't be in the rule book but complaints about the officials' enforcement of the rule are like complaining that a cop enforces a law you don't agree with. Take it up with the people in charge of making the rules, not the ones enforcing them. Link to comment
Minnesota_husker
It was a legal, gruesome hit. All i know is Nebraska/Wisconsin have a good rivalry.... Link to comment
Radioactive Man
Don't forget about the helmet to helmet that got called on Stafford as well. Stafford tackled the guy with his chest and got the PF as well. 1 Link to comment

rawhide
Pereira is the equiv. of the Supreme's K Court/?? interpreting the rulz as they see fit. Because it was above the shoulders or the player that was about to tackle another player is defenseless??? idk Link to comment
