Ziggy
Frighteningly dumb: http://www.buzzfeed....n-card-campaign But yea... let's rag on Jim Carrey. The difference between a gun company trying to sell more guns, from a overpriced actor who makes jokes about a dead guy and his lack of sexual organ size is pretty large. Now, I actually thought the bushmaster thing is a pretty good marketing tool for pro gun owners, to help inflate guys egos about manliness. So yes i will rag on Jim Carrey. Link to comment
sd'sker
what is a pro gun owner? and do you think that is who they are targeting? i think those ads are going after the douches who do not know what it means to be a man and actual gun guys scoff at those dudes who are 'accessorizing' their guns. 4 Link to comment

You don't see an issue with the implication that in order to stand up to a 5th grader, you need a gun? Link to comment

You don't see an issue with the implication that in order to stand up to a 5th grader, you need a gun? I see a problem with you implying that's what was actually said. What it said was his man card was revoked because he was afraid of a 5th grader, and then said by buying a gun he was somehow given his man card back. Not that he needed a gun to stand up to he 5th grader. Link to comment

And if I remember correctly (I may be wrong), Carl accessorize one of his guns? Secondly, what does it mean to be a man? I though men are supposed to be whatever they want, not what society expects of them, or what it means to be a man. Are not all people who think men should act one way "douches"? Just like expecting women or other groups to all act alike, like well articulated African Americans are uncle toms and "acting white"? Link to comment

That's why we have a right — a right granted by God and protected by the Constitution — to arm and protect ourselves. I must've missed that Bible verse in Sunday school. Link to comment
