Huskball
I agree that we should have been better with keeping a healthy lead tonight, but at least we are finding ways to pull out close victories this year (Valpo, JS) and not losing them like years past (Last year Wake Forest and many others). flatwaterfan
Huskers win. Good job. Real nice game by Shavon. Player of the game. I also want to give a shout out to Benny. He makes a difference just by getting us in our offense. Quote Link to comment
Comish
Wondered why Benny wasn't in there for free throw shooting abililties over Peltz at the end, but Smiles indicated that he's still not healthy............ Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Ubel's block was #2 on SportsCenter's Top 10. So we've got that going for us. Which is nice. Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
Nebrasketball this year is probably about where I thought it would be this year, if not a little better. They are not all that fun to watch, but you can tell that Coach Smiles is a damn good basketball coach. That along with the recruiting prowess that he has shown puts a pretty bright light on the future of Nebraska men's basketball. Quote Link to comment

I don't know, that's a good question. Maybe he wanted extra rebounding. I also wonder if Benny got pulled because they gave up that one very easy fast break late in the game. That was kind of a major no-no. We should of had someone back on that. Good to see Rivers was able to play. We need him. Quote Link to comment
Red Tape
We had them totally outsized with Almeida in the game (insert almeida joke #1), we should have been feeding him constantly (insert Almeida joke #2 here) But seriously. He has a great touch when he gets it inside. We just need to find ways to generate offense instead of getting in these 6-10 minute slumps. Those have been killing us for years. Seems like we will have it going, then in comes Peltz to spell Parker and Almeida goes out for a snack break and then our offense stalls. Quote Link to comment
