PaulCrewe
Its a shame most of the team got lost in Iowa. No team should have more dunks and offensive rebounds than you do rebounds in total. This is the gopher team that started the year. They will be a tough out in the conference tourney with Williams and the Hollins boys Quote Link to comment

BCS1994
Wow, shot 55% and got killed. Oh that's right, they doubled our rebounds. pathetic. Nebraska beats themselves. Quote Link to comment
huskeraddict
Nebraska loses 84-65. Huskers will be back in action on Saturday against Ohio State in Lincoln. Tip-off is 6pm CT on BTN. Quote Link to comment

Minnesota was obviously the better and more experienced team tonight without a doubt. Nebraska didnt beat themselves Minnesota earned the victory, give them credit where credit is due Quote Link to comment
redout22
Not a bad fight but we would have been trounced without Ray. Hopefully he can find that stroke consistantly and we will see less cold streaks. Just have to be more physical but it is expected with all the fresh faces and inexperienced players. Lets see the fight we can give them at home. Quote Link to comment

BigRedBuster
It's frustrating how we can have games where we play great defense but can't score. THEN, we finally have a game where we can score and our defense for some reason doesn't show up. Anyway, like I've been saying all year long, watching this team is fun even though we are losing. I'm excited for the future when we get more athleticism and scoring on the floor. Quote Link to comment
Omaha-Husker
Really our biggest weakness is probably athletic post players. Andre and even Ubel looked extremely slow against the types of guys Minn was putting out there. The teams we can beat will have the slow plodding "traditional" PFs and Cs. The teams that will run away from us will abuse out down low D. Miles is shifting the program toward those athletic forwards though. Also Rey deserves some major props, he was out of his mind last night. Quote Link to comment
flatwaterfan
does tim teach rebounding... or do the guys just not rebound... or listen..??? The TV said that CSU lead the nation in rebounding margin last year....so it's our guys. Some of it's physical, some is not boxing out. Quote Link to comment

True, and (not to excuse our performance, but) Minny is as good as anyone in college hoops at crashing the offensive boards....... Quote Link to comment
