How many times did we see Nebraska have a lead in the late innings, but some gaffe started off a torrent of errors, runs, and eventually what lead we had evaporated. We're already seeing it this year, the USC game, two of the three Texass games...games where either we had the lead and blew it, or we were in it but just appeared to give up. If Coach Erstad can't get his hands around the mental issues surrounding this club, it's going to make for a *long* season, pitching prowess and clutch hitting be damned. I suppose, though, we should expect things to get worse before they get better. Andersen did us no favors, and it may take another year or more for Erstad to undo the damage. Quote Link to comment
