Mavric
Yeah. Quite a few of the guys inside +3 still have 10 plus holes left. I look for enough to drop out and make the cut +4. Btw. Tiger could play hell with the 10 stroke rule. He might just shoot 67 today for a -7. My guy Freddie Couples is killin it. Look for him to be near the lead all weekend. Tiger makes the turn at three under for the day, five under for the tourney. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Leishman drops a shot at 14 to fall into a three-way tie for the lead with Freddie and Eldrick. Quote Link to comment

HuskerThor
Would love to see Freddie and Tiger in the final group on Sunday. And if I hear that 53 yrs of age is to old to be good enough to hang with the youngsters at the Master.........well they can just bite me. WTF does 53 have to do with anything? Either you are good or your not. Now the 14 yr old 8th grader from China is pretty amazing to say the least. Quote Link to comment
tschu
Tiger may have taken an illegal drop on 15, rules officials will review in the morning. I think he's fine, maybe a 25% chance of a DQ, if that. Quote Link to comment

That being said, I'm a little surprised Tiger didn't at least ask for a ruling before he did that. I'm sure he knows what the rule book says. Quote Link to comment
It'sNotAFakeID
If they penalized a 14 year old, they sure as heck will DQ Tiger. Hope they don't though Quote Link to comment

The kid was warned several times before the penalty was assessed. And he'll barely make the TV coverage over the weekend. Quote Link to comment
tschu
Looks like a 2-stroke penalty, which doesn't make any sense whatsoever by the rules of golf, but I guess they didn't want to DQ him and figured it was a good enough penalty. Quote Link to comment

tschu
Golf Channel has paraded out all their analysts to say that if Tiger doesn't withdraw, this incident will totally ruin his career. LOL. Quote Link to comment

If he manages to win, there will be a cascade of "there should be an asterisk" as he tries to chase down Jack. Quote Link to comment
