Coqui
I figured not wanting to finish worse than 4th was enough motivation. Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
It would mean that our guys sh*t the bed during the season, but I could take some solace in going to Yankee Stadium to see them beat the ass off of some team from the Big ACC East... Wrong entity. Youre thinking of ESPN. Quote Link to comment
LouisianaHuskerFan
It's kind of mind boggling to think that NYC doesn't have a domed stadium. NFL, college football, bowl games, final fours, concerts, political conventions, etc. You would think it would get used like crazy. A bowl game in NYC in the winter would be a lot more tolerable for fans if the actual game was indoors. I commend NYC for not having a domed stadium. Playing football indoors stinks and should be banned. Play football in any weather that presents itself. Enough with all these sissies and wanting games indoors and not having the weather elements involved. Get over it. Quote Link to comment
WoodyHayes1951
I don't want to play in the Bronx but shouldn't the people who want southern schools to come up to play in the elements be all in favor of this? Id rather in be in the Meadowlands if anything. Quote Link to comment

exswoo
Really? I suppose I can see it now that it poached half the Big East but I always considered ACC a Southern 'elite' conference with its power based around VA & NC. Then again, I always felt that the Big Ten was more of a "Northern" conference than a Midwest one ever since Penn State joined...with the new additions that's certainly going to be the branding push going forward. StPaulHusker
Not that I would want the Huskers to finish low enough to end up in this bowl game, if they did I would strongly consider a trip to NYC for it. Quote Link to comment
