ADS
He probably waited too long to offer him, but we are stacked at LB. Thought Nate Clouse said on one of the 1620 shows a few days back that there was some miscommunication and NU actually hadn't offered yet, but showing a lot of interest... may be wrong though You're prob right, it didn't make much sense as to why we offered him. Especially with all the young talent in waiting, unless they feel he could've been a real difference maker. We did not offer him, we were waiting for him to fix his grade issues, KSU took a chance on him. Sounds like he has alot of work to do, but if he clears, they got a steal. Thanks for clearing that up +1 Quote Link to comment

KSU fan over on rivals openly said they can get about anyone in and the decision was heavily influenced by that. Quote Link to comment

His success has always been built around Juco guys Quote Link to comment
desertshox
Classic Bill Snyder. His success has always been built around Juco guys had he been able to take more partial qualifiers and prop 40-whatevers when they had them, he might not have been as dependent on JUCO's. and when you have one of the better JUCO leagues in the same state, you might as well utilize it. Creighton Duke
I know it was Weis' first year, but Kansas was even worse about the JUCOs last year. http://rivals.yahoo.com/kansas/football/recruiting/commitments/2013 Quote Link to comment

They couldnt even field a 2-deep last year so they grabbed as many D-1 ready guys for game 1 of 2013. I expect they tailor down the jucos kids after their 2014 class. Quote Link to comment
