presidentjlh
Agreed one hundred percent. I leave coaching changes up to the university and that alone. This is still a young season, and while it isn't terribly likely, 11-1 in the regular season is still quite possible. Criticism of the coaches is always acceptable, but let's take it easy and not kill this season before it really even starts. Remember, the conference title isn't already owned by Urban Meyer. It won't be easy or likely, but we must press forward. GBR Quote Link to comment
Knoxville Husker
I'm glad this was put to rest so we can concentrate on football again (and Bo's performance as a coach not as an immature loudmouth). 1 Quote Link to comment

Saunders
This is good. Firing a coach mid-season would be a mistake, IMO. Oh snap, we agree. Quote Link to comment
clone
Athletics Tom Osborne became aware of these comments and the existence of a recording more than a year ago, and addressed the matter with Coach Pelini. 'nuff said! Quote Link to comment
NUance
So Bo was on double secret probation all this time. I guess that's the end of it. Sort of explains why Bo has been so chillaxed on the sideline lately He actually has been more subdued on the sideline the past couple of years. Or maybe I should say slightly less maniacal. presidentjlh
Honestly...I kinda miss fiery Bo. Maybe not "getting in trouble because he's so enraged" Bo, but I loved the passion. Quote Link to comment
darkhorse85
I wonder how Bob Devaney would have handled this if he were still around. I have a feeling he and Bo would have been chums. Quote Link to comment

Count 'Bility
it's not nearly over, or at least I hope anyways. Time to find and fry this piece of sh#t. Quote Link to comment
Knoxville Husker
Now if we can just get the real idiot Husker fans with the agenda to fire Bo to have some sanity ... maybe we can still build this program this season instead of try to destroy it. Well I am at least among the idiot fans that think BP should be accountable for his on field performance and not too thrilled with that area. This idea though that someone posting about wanting Bo gone on an Internet message board is destroying the program. Really?!? I have said all along Bo is his own worst enemy, and the "anti-Bo" crowd from what I have seen almost universally wants him to succeed. They are just calling it like they see it, this guy has not wowed anyone since being hired. Couple that with being a big-time you know what, and patience wears thin more quickly. At least here we were dredging up a problem that appears mostly corrected, though sometimes you just can't change who you are (we'll see). Quote Link to comment
RedRedJarvisRedwine
Bo needs to take out his frustrations by bringing 7 people when it's 3rd and 15. Just sayin 1 Quote Link to comment

4skers89
So Bo was on double secret probation all this time. I guess that's the end of it. Sort of explains why Bo has been so chillaxed on the sideline lately And why he clearly mouthed "Thank You" and pointed to the fans as he walked off the Northwestern field last year at the end of the game. I wasn't expecting that from Bo "F'ng" Pelini Quote Link to comment
NUance
I wonder how Bob Devaney would have handled this if he were still around. I have a feeling he and Bo would have been chums. The BobFather would not have been recorded in the first place. And even if he had, the media types would protect Devaney. Because of the many times he drank them under the table, then drove them home and tucked them into their beds. He was a god among Irishmen. 1 Quote Link to comment
