Does it make you mad Missouri/Texas A&M are having success?

There's a media bias because it's the best damn conference in CFB. Lol, how many MNC's have they won in a row now? Think I already posted that here. The point of this thread is the fact that Mizzu and A&M are rising programs and we are not. I'll choke on my own words if we finish 12-1 and B1G champs. I'd love to see this team go out winners as much as anyone else here. But it's pretty irritating that old foes are on the rise and we are stuck. Missouri, A&M, Texas Tech, Baylor just to name a few.

Best conference in CFB? I would take Oregon to beat any one of those teams, or hell, even Stanford. I think the Pac 12 is actually better than the SEC, in football this year. Stanford, UCLA and Oregon against SEC's top 3, I almost guarantee that 2 of those Pac 12 teams come out on top, if not all 3.

By the way, who would you say is the top SEC team, because there are only TWO that are showing any kind of power.

One being Alabama, who has had a CUPCAKE schedule, besides A&M, who put points up on the "great" Nick Saban defense. Other than A&M, who else isn't cupcake or overrated? A defensiveless LSU team? They have by far, one of the easiest schedules in the SEC, and this is why their path to the MNC is so successful.

Then you have who, Mizzou? Someone who has been fortunate enough to play the higher powered teams, who have a lot of their top players out? This is not their fault by any means, and not trying to take credit away, as the better TEAM won, but they have been lucky the way things have gone so far.

Oregon is probably the only one who could give Bama a run for their money but Bama showed they can outscore that fast no huddle offense when they played A&M. Out of the past 7 SEC NC's, Oregon was really the only competitive team when they played Auburn.

One of those NCs is because the media wanted AL. They should not have been there because they couldn't even win their division.

Sort of like how we didn't win our conference and didn't belong in the 02 Rose Bowl vs. Miami. So yeah, we'll blame the media  excuses excuses.

Find me a Husker fan who would honestly tell you we deserved to be in that game.

Yeah, sort of like 2002. Almost any Nebraska fan could tell you that we didn't deserve to be in the MNC game. It was a fluke of scheduling and the BCS calculations. But at least the media wasn't fawning all over us in 2002 like they do to Alabama and pretty much all other SEC schools.

The great Nick Saban defense has only allowed 68 points this year and their defensive PPG will go down yet again. The 95 Huskers "greatest team ever" that defense allowed 112 pts through 7 games at this point and faced weaker opponents and nobody ranked. But, ok.

Haha that wasn't until AFTER we got our butts kicked! We ended up getting there because all the teams ahead of us lost and it was all about $. So, we'll blame the media on this one, too.

This is like you are politely crying over the past. Of course nobody was crazy about us back then cause we got our butts whupped by CU 62-36. Remember? All the other SEC schools that played in an NC the past 7 years that lost a game didn't have a loss quite like 62-36.

Has Bama played anyone yet with a pulse?

Sure, SEC is the best conf if you only look at the top team. Perhaps the top two. Bob Stoops had it right earlier this summer. Outside of Bama and maybe LSU, the SEC just isn't that strong. That should be evident by Mizzou and aTm's new found success. (Well, aTm until today. lol) But until some team kicks Bama to the curb espn will keep right on spunk slurping the SEC. Because that's what they do.

Eliminate LSU out of that, as they just lost. Now you have only one team. Like my comment states above, if Alabama was to face a tougher schedule, their road wouldn't be so easy to the MNC. Hell, even their non conference games are cupcake.

Alabama has had a tougher schedule at this point vs. 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers. Excuses. Not to mention Alabama is in a tougher conference and have more games. If they win out and win a 3rd straight natty, they will remove that greatest team ever title from the 95 Huskers. Let's hope that doesn't happen for the sake of our program since we depend so much on our legacy.

EXACTLY!!!! This troll obviously is trying to slurp on the SEC c$%k some more. I stated they haven't played anyone worthy, besides A&M. 68 points allowed, while 42 came from one team. What a "great" defense. Auburn kept them to 41, so does that mean that they are the second best defense in the nation?

Red is Power, I think you forgot to wipe something on your chin.
