Haspula
Shawn Watson to Bama? Quote Link to comment
HuskerNationNick
I don't think its a great hire, good hire? Sure. I don't think Alabama's offense is elite by any means, even with all the talent they have. Just going to be interesting on what he does, especially when he has to deal with 4 year scholarships, unlike Alabama. Player wasn't what they expected, they got cut for a better athlete. Fortunately for us, he is going to have to work with what they have and will recruit. Quote Link to comment
HuskerNationNick
Shawn Watson to Bama? Lane Kiffin to Alabama. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Wow, that seems like a great hire. Michigan was certainly very proactive. Seems like the hire Texas should have made. Quote Link to comment
True2tRA
Wow. Great hire. Fuxking depressing it was Michigan that made this move. I can think of another team I would have loved to see hire this guy. Damn. Quote Link to comment
husker B-rent
Wouldn't have even considered the guy Quote Link to comment
QMany
Pete Thamel @SIPeteThamel14m Possibility of Kiffin to Bama is very real. Saban inquired about Kiffin when he got job in 07. Kiffin just spent 8 days in Tuscaloosa. Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
He won't be nearly effective at UM, imo. Won't have the numerous All-American caliber linemen every single year AND a defense that gives up hardly anything. Also not convinced Gardner or Morris can make the throws needed for the O. I believe Gardner could make the throws needed, if they can magically get an offensive line that can protect him. They also need a legitimate RB in the backfield so they have a running threat, rather than Gardner being their whole offense. Quote Link to comment
walksalone
You can tell it's the offseason... A thread about a OC with no ties to the school gets its own thread... Quote Link to comment

Michigan gets plenty of talent; they're nearly always top-10 in recruiting. Quote Link to comment

For that matter, their defensive scheme isn't all that special either. They just get superior athletes who are then well-coached in fundamentals. Quote Link to comment
