Comish
As positive as this win was, I reiterate that if we don't follow it up at PSU on Thursday............the 1-1 record of the two games is indistinguishable in the sterile record of conference standings at the end. Penn St has found unbelievable ways to NOT win games they had in the bag, and are much better this year. So, it begs the question. IF we would not follow it up with a win, which game would have a more lasting effect? Betting OSU at home and losing to PSU on the road..........or losing to OSU at home and beating PSU on the road to generate confidence into our home game vs. Minny on Sunday?? Hopefully we don't have to entertain that query because we go ahead and win Thursday, but I hope our players understand how fleeting this win would be IF Thursday's effort falls short. jaws
Catching the replay on BTN right now--Pinnacle was rockin' tonight which is good to see on TV. Good job 'Huskers. Keep it up, and let's use this W to turn this thing around. It was really loud. Someone needs to teach the students past the first row how to jump, though. That's covered in graduate-level classes, Sir. And watched the game this AM/last night. Good quality win, no matter how many excuses were being made for tOSU. We went from a ~30 point loss to an eight point win. That's a team growing before our eyes, folks. Here's hoping they keep it up. No excuses needed but at this point OSU isn't even a top 25 team. You can't go on a losing streak like this and say this is a good team. Craft and Scott don't look the same on the court as they have in the past. Good win for the Huskers after getting blown out in Columbus. That shows some growth. Quote Link to comment
TAKODA
Huge win for the Huskers and Miles. Tasting success makes you want more of it! Congrats to team and coach. Like Comish mentioned a few times in this thread. Stay hungry and focused Huskers! Quote Link to comment

St. (17-1), Iowa (15-3), Minnesota (14-5) & us. 3 out of the 4 were on the road & 2 top 10 teams. How are they not a top 25 team. Please make somewhat of an educated response. Quote Link to comment

Maybe they are a top 25 team but right now but it is at the bottom (23-25). Fact is they are 2-4 in the B1G, lack the defense they started the year out with, still haven't found a consistent scorer, lacking in the paint, and have turned the ball over way too many times in bad situations. This is something OSU fans haven't seen since the the 2008-09 season. Quote Link to comment
