All jokes aside, NU is very lucky to be this close thanks to some sloppy play from Indiana. Getting drilled on the boards which isn't a big surprise as Indiana is a very good rebounding team. Offense needs to go through the high post. And yeah Shields is having a rough go, but benching him is absolutely nuts Quote Link to comment

That's why Shields beds to be in. He squares up to the basket when getting the ball in the high post. Also I think he moves thebest without the ball. A couple times in the first half Rivers had the backside defender pinned when the ball went to the high post. Once Pitchford didn't even face the hoop. Another Shields drove.
